Rip Curl wetsuits come with a warranty that lasts for a certain period of time from the date you bought them. Here's a breakdown:
Warranty Period:
- 3 year warranty on all stitching - In the case of the stitching breaking, Rip Curl will repair the suit.
- 12 month warranty on materials - this included neoprene, knee-pads, liquid tape and zips.
What's Not Covered:
- Damage caused by anything other than defects in materials or workmanship.
- Use in commercial, rental, teaching or instructional programs or activities.
- Damage caused by extended or excessive exposure to sunlight, improper handling or storage, or failure to follow instruction provided with this product.
- This product when classified as being second-hand or it is being sold as a product with existing defects.
- Normal wear and tear, including scratches and fading (to read more about what is considered wear and tear in a wetsuit read THIS ARTICLE).
- Wetsuits repaired by other repair service.
- Surf Factory School or commercially used wetsuits.'
- Sample or second-hand wetsuits.
PLEASE NOTE:
When returning your wetsuit for repairs, it's important to make sure it's clean and dry. Our team will not check wet, sandy, or dirty suits. So, please wash and dry your wetsuit thoroughly before returning it. If the wetsuit isn't in an acceptable condition, we might have to send it back to you without any repairs done.
