Patagonia wetsuits come with a warranty that lasts for a certain period of time from the date you bought them. Here's a breakdown:
Warranty Period:
- Suits should last between 3 to 4 seasons when properly maintained and
cared for.
What's Not Covered by Warranty:
- Damage is due to regular wear and tear, like fading from sunlight, sunscreen, chlorine, or neglect (to read more about what is considered wear and tear in a wetsuit read THIS ARTICLE).
- Repairs made by an unauthorized repair shop if they damage the suit.
- Wetsuit classified as “used”, “second hand” or “irregular” (sold with defects).
- Wetsuits used in commercial operations, wetsuit rental, teaching or instructional programs or activities.
- Fit issues that arise after the wetsuit has been used. Fit issues should be resolved before the wetsuit hits the water.
PLEASE NOTE:
When returning your wetsuit for repairs, it's important to make sure it's clean and dry. Our team will not check wet, sandy, or dirty suits. So, please wash and dry your wetsuit thoroughly before returning it. If the wetsuit isn't in an acceptable condition, we might have to send it back to you without any repairs done.
