Rip Curl Watches come with a warranty that lasts for a certain period of time from the date you bought them. Here's a breakdown:
Warranty Period:
Our warranties cover watches bought from authorized Rip Curl retailers (with purchase receipt). They don't apply to products from non-authorized online retailers or auction sites.
- Two years on Movements (excluding the Crown)
- Two years on Waterproof
- One year on batteries
Battery Replacement: Our service center can replace batteries, reseal the watch, and test its functions and water resistance, issuing a new one-year warranty.
Not Covered by Warranty:
- Glass
- Band
- Case
- Dials / Hands
- Crown / Stem
The warranty is void if the watch is opened by anyone other than a Rip Curl Service Centre. Wear and tear or accidental damage are also not covered. Warranty claims must include a purchase receipt.
Recommended Usage & Test:
- 100M / 330ft: Suitable for Water Sports like Surfing, Snorkeling, Swimming, and Water Skiing.
- 200M / 660ft: Suitable for Water Sports and Scuba Diving to standard legal depths.
Rip Curl watches are rigorously tested and built for surfing. However, frequent temperature changes, saltwater, and wipeouts can affect the watch's seals. We recommend replacing seals every 24 months at our service center.
RIP CURL PTY. LTD. is not liable for any loss or claims arising from watch use.
