Standard Shipping is a no signature required service*. This means that the courier will generally leave your order at the front door or letterbox. Once the parcel has been delivered to your shipping address SurfStitch takes no responsibility for any damage or theft that may occur. If you will not be present to accept your delivery or you feel that your address is unsafe to have a parcel left unattended, we recommend choosing an address at which someone will be present.
* Excludes bulky items (Please see 'bulky item delivery' below). Orders containing outlet items are not eligible for free shipping and will incur a $10 shipping fee.

MARKETPLACE SHIPPING
All shipped from supplier items will be shipped directly from the brand to you. Dependent on their current shipping policy your order will ship via Australia Post or external couriers with no signature required - however this can be dependent brand to brand.
We recommend contacting the courier directly once you receive your shipment details and tracking to either be left with no signature or redirect to the post office.
Please note: We ask that you enter your address carefully when ordering shipped from supplier products as we can not edit your address on our end. Once shipped you can contact the courier to amend * we take no responsibility if this cannot be updated in time or the order is delivered to the incorrect address entered.
BULKY ITEM DELIVERY
RATES QUOTED AT CHECKOUT
Bulky items can include some Travel Bags, Surfboard Racks, Surfboard Covers, Skateboards, Bodyboards, Surfboards, Softboards and some Headwear. Most of our Bulky items are shipped to you for FREE however some Bulky items can attract higher shipping fees starting from $9.99. These shipping fees are based on the size and weight of the order and any shipping charges will be quoted during checkout. Estimated delivery time for bulky orders is 1-7 days (7-14 days for regional areas).
Bulky item deliveries require a signature upon delivery. If you are not present, the parcel will be redirected to the depot and you will be responsible for picking this parcel up. We recommend choosing an address where you will be present such as a work address to avoid this.
SHIPPING INSURANCE
You value your shipment and so do we – for peace of mind, don’t forget to protect your order.
The courier carries no liability in the event a parcel is lost or damaged during transit or during/after delivery, regardless of the nature of the error. Hence why at time of shipment, transit insurance is offered as an optional extra to provide you with peace of mind.
By adding shipping insurance to your purchase, you will ensure that your order is protected in transit and throughout the delivery process.
How it works
SurfStitch will lodge a formal investigation on your behalf with the courier and guarantees a turnaround of 2 business days to either refund, credit or replace providing the order has not met the conditions below:
- The consignment has been signed for
- The consignment has been delivered with a proof of delivery image captured
- You have supplied the incorrect address when placing your order
This fee is non-refundable and paid directly to SurfStitch at time of shipment creation.

^In some cases, if your order exceeds the dimensions for Express Shipping it will automatically be sent via Regular Shipping. This service requires a signature upon arrival or will be taken to your local post office if you're not home. Any additional fees will be refunded in this case.
Important Information: SurfStitch can only send surfboards within mainland Australia. If your order does not meet these conditions it will be cancelled and refunded. For a list of excluded destinations please contact Customer Service.
